Intel has introduced an ultra-low voltage processor that is intended for very thin, mid-range notebook computers.

The SU2700 consumer ultra-low voltage (CULV) processor, unveiled on Tuesday at the Computex show in Taiwan, is the first of Intel's dual-core CULV chips to fall under the Pentium rather than the Core 2 Duo brand. As such, the chip is designed for ultra-thin laptops that are slightly more expensive and powerful than netbooks, but still have portability that is closer to netbooks than to current laptops.

The 1.3GHz SU2700 uses an 800MHz front-side bus and 2MB of L2 cache. The chip is manufactured using the 45nm process. It has a thermal design power (TDP)--a measure for the amount of cooling a processor needs--of 10W, or around a third of the TDP for most current notebook processors.

The closest competitor to Intel's CULV chip range is AMD's Athlon Neo product line. AMD also made its own processor announcement on Monday, to say that it has started shipping the dual-core versions of these ultra-low voltage chips.

At the same time as it introduced the SU2700, Intel launched its GS40 Express chipset for CULV laptops. This chipset allows high-definition video playback and includes an HDMI output.

Also at Computex, Intel showed off a new technology called My Wi-Fi. This technology makes it possible to turn a Wi-Fi-equipped Centrino 2 laptop into an access point for up to eight Wi-Fi-certified devices, such as cameras, printers, HDTVs and MP3 players.

Gorgeous Design:

The very first impression any one would get by giving a look to the new Sony CR series VAIO laptops is that it very well designed to attract attention of the people. As first impression is the last so Sony managed to attract many customers toward its new laptops series just because of the design. I myself bought the CR VAIO for many reasons but the main attraction toward the notebook was its stylish design. From the range of available colors to the polished metal-like accents the CR is a design that gets your attention. The reason Sony adopted the iMac style is to attract college going student towards CR VAIO series because most students go for Mac the book.

The new CR series VAIO laptops gives a very clean look from the first to the last view. When opened the lid of my laptop I saw a white plastic interior of the CR VAIO then I expected that it would have been made of a cheap plastic case with a significant amount of flex to it. Surprisingly the case is very sturdy with relatively thick plastic. The interior is also given metal reinforcements where necessarily needed.
Hardware Performance:

The new Sony VAIO CR-series is coming with Intel Core2 Duo processors which provide more than enough performance. My laptop has a 1.8GHz low-end configured processor but still it gave excellent performance in my tests that I performed on the laptop. Those customers which can easily afford to pay for 2.4 GHz processors for their CR series VAIO laptops will find their notebooks extremely powerful in-spite the fact that it sis coming with a low graphics resolution adapter. VAIO CR series has 3DMark05 graphics resolution whose performance is extremely low not only this but the CR uses the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 which shares the notebook’s system RAM which decrease not only the graphics performance but also the overall performance of the machine when the main memory is shared. The review unit I bought came with only 1GB of system RAM. If the CR was equipped with 2GB or more these benchmarks would have been slightly more impressive.
Display:

It has a 14.1 inches screen WXGA with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution with a very not only with a glossy finish but limit less beauty with excellent color and contrast. The display features fairly bright. The backlight of the screen has eight levels of brightness. Viewing the screen in horizontal angels are great which makes the screen an ideal choice for watching a DVD or a streaming video or a presentation been given to two or more then two persons. However, vertical viewing angles are among the worst I’ve seen on a notebook in this price range. If you tilt the lid of the screen slightly the whole screen will go black and some times even wash out.
Interior:

When you will open the lid of the note book the most attractive and unique thing you will find on the note book will be its white stylish keyboard. Unlike most traditional PC notebook keyboards the CR keyboard looks more like a Mac-Book than a PC. They keys are very well cushioned. They are very touch sensitive keys and will respond to a very light touch even. But if you are a traditional keys lover then you should not be going for the new Sony VAIO CR series. The keyboard is quite solid with no flex still it is made up of plastic. But if you will get used to it then you will find it extremely soft and enjoyable then other traditional keyboards.

The touchpad of the new sonny CR VAIO series is very nice. It is comparatively very large which can be utilized in a very usable manner. It has an extreme responsive surface. The mouse buttons compared to the pad are very small and also shadowed in the body as well as very noisy making it uncomfortable for the users.
Audio:

The new Sony VAIO CR has stereo sound which is made using three speakers. These speakers are located on the right and left sides of the keyboard as well one speakers on the front of the interior. Well I haven’t heard any best speakers then these built-in speakers on the notebooks. CR series has extremely great sound and you will enjoy a lot watching movies and listening to music on it. There is also an head phone jack which is located at the left side of the laptop which is the best location and external speakers can also be connected there in addition.
Heat and Noise:

The VAIO CR runs on extremely cool temperatures with the 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo processor. I suspect that with higher speed of the processors the more the heat will be produced. When running in high room temperatures the left bottom side gets slightly warm but the overall temperature remains cool enough to use the notebook in your lap. Temperatures are likely kept within acceptable limits thanks to a rather large copper heat-sink visible through the vent on the left side of the CR. The CR is thicker but lighter that’s why it remains remarkably cool overall.
The system fan is very quite in running and it can’t be heard in an ambient noisy room you will have to put your ear on the laptop to hear the noise of the fan. But the fan emits large amount heat and yu will feel uncomfortable to put your hand near the fan.
Battery:

Sony claims the battery life of the standard 6-cell battery at 2.0-3.5 hours of use depending on how you use the notebook. During my test I obtained 3 hours and 2 minutes of battery life using the notebook at half screen brightness, wireless off, and a mixture of Word usage and idling. Clearly you would need to have the screen brightness turned even lower and do little more than let the notebook idle if you want to obtain the full 3.5 hours that Sony claims. You can get a large capacity battery for an advertised 3-6 hours of usage time unplugged, but the larger battery will stick out from the back and add weight to the notebook.

Unfortunately, in the dark room this netbook planel will get reflection on vertical angle, and it will influence the display colour. But we don’t have to be worry about the horizontal angle.

One difference between HP MINI 1000 and the previous Mini-Note 2133 is the chipset change from VIA to Atom Intel. In this new year, after nearly two writing this column, I offer a very personal reflection that has to do (or maybe not) with science and history. We are experiencing a serious global crisis from which nobody is sure how to leave.. Macroeconomic figures are analyzed and plans are designed to stabilize the system, but nothing works if you do not take into account the main factor behind all of a crisis: the human factor, a factor at the same time stabilizing and destabilizing.

Butterfly Effect

In physics there are systems that are extremely sensitive to initial conditions. However well known variables will influence its development, no matter how sophisticated they become instruments that measure, there will always be a minimum uncertainty influence crucial in the further development of the system. One result will be minimal capable of great consequences. This effect is known popularly, as the “butterfly effect”. So exaggerated, but very graphic, explained that the simple flight of a butterfly in Africa, can lead, in time, a hurricane in China. The first such systems to be studied back in the sixties, was the time weather.

Butterfly effect and history

From the first moment that I learned about this peculiar kind of physical systems, I recalled the very future of the story. We know thousands of small stories that influenced, decisively, in the further development of very important events. Any of these causes tiny, andalusia developed differently, would have changed the destiny of any country or the world. History has passed over thousands of years, full of millions of events more or less meaning, intertwined in a random or not. In many ways, could be considered as a “very sensitive to initial conditions, a nonlinear system and with plenty of feedback. Fortunately, the handlers who try, try and change the destiny of nations, it is difficult, may take into account all the variables necessary to achieve their purpose. In the very short term may be correct that his calculations, but the medium and long term were right. Small miscalculation, as events unfold, they have greater influence on the results until you get to disfiguring. The performances were well encounter in principle with the same problems with the multiplier effect of small errors on the system. More now that the effect of globalization transforms the world into a more sensitive and volatile.

There is one job opportunity in INOX theater , 3 hours job only and the pay will be awarded according to your communication skills . . Just to share some of my experience of mine don't take it seriously . . Yesterday me and my friend went to INOX theater to buy ten Rs tickets for silambattam but unfortunately we didn't get ticket for that movie and we brought Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi ticket . . And real fact is we don't know hindi and so we decide to sell all the tickets . . So called some of the boys out there and sold the tickets for 30 and we have the profit of more than 100 and we went to have some dum there and some vadai and more of Nirmal's (camera cyclone ) comedy . . 2 weeks before my mom asked me to buy an bike . . So i was in dilemma to choose bikes . I referred my friends and all the people around me and i decided to buy apache RTR . Many said not to buy it because of its maintainable . So i preferred to buy Unicorn , but im not interested with the style of that bike . . Then all the things matched in one bike and many bikes are on the road and im fed of choosing bike . So i decided to leave it to my dad . Suddenly i got mail from my friend about Pulsar 300 cc fi . Im very much amazed with the design and structure of the bike . I don't when this bike is going to launch and i also don't know the price . RAB NE BANA DI JODI is vey desi at heart with a strong start and an equally strong emotional end. Having said that, you cannot deny the fact that you expect much, much more from Aditya Chopra. RAB NE BANA DI JODI is no DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE, it's not MOHABBATEIN either. It's lower than that! At the box-office, the business will be better at some multiplexes, while the single screens will be below average. The business in Overseas, however, should be better, but the business in India will totter, tremble and fumble after the initial weekend. One often cribs about Yash Raj repeatedly casting SRK in similar roles, in film after film. However, this allegation is far from true. Right from DARR to CHAK DE INDIA, the combination has collaborated on varied subjects. With RAB NE BANA DI JODI, they take this association to another level altogether.

To start with, RAB NE BANA DI JODI brings back the golden team of DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE and MOHABBATEIN after a hiatus and the only parallel you can draw with the earlier achievements is the fact that each of them is a love story. Otherwise, RAB NE BANA DI JODI is truly different. It's not set in London or Switzerland, there's no sarso ke khet, it's not about a good looking couple sporting designer outfits and accessories, there's no parental opposition either.

Set your eyes anywhere and you see countless unknown faces. In markets, malls, streets, airports, stations, just about everywhere. And everyone who walks this planet has a story to tell. With RAB NE BANA DI JODI, Aditya Chopra talks of one such ordinary person. Living in one of those crowded bylanes of Amritsar, his life undergoes a 360 degree change the moment he sets his eyes on a beautiful girl.

Like SRK does a 360 degree turn in the movie, Aditya Chopra too does a complete turn as far as the story is concerned. Seeped in Indian emotions and traditional values and very desi at heart, RAB NE BANA DI JODI is a complete departure from the good-looking, picture perfect YRF movies that sport glam bodies parading designer outfits.

For the present-day generation, a story like RAB NE BANA DI JODI may come across as an original piece of work, but if you've been a keen observer of films of yore, you can't help overlook the similarities with Dr. V. Shantaram's NAVRANG and more precisely, Raj Kapoor's SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM. In fact, RAB NE BANA DI JODI also brings back memories of the low-cost MAIN MERI PATNI AUR WOH [Rajpal Yadav, Rituparna Sengupta], not in terms of story, but in terms of characters.

The problem is, RAB NE BANA DI JODI works in patches. The first 30 minutes and the penultimate 30 minutes are the highpoint of the enterprise, but the screenplay in between doesn't hold your attention. That's the truth!

In a nutshell, RAB NE BANA DI JODI is no DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE. It's not MOHABBATEIN either. At best, it's an average fare that may generate some curiosity initially, that's it. You expect much, much more, but… alas!

Surinder [Shah Rukh Khan], a simple, clean hearted, honest man working for Punjab Power, leads a humdrum life, but the moment he sets his eyes on Taani [Anushka Sharma], his life undergoes a change. She's flamboyant, fun-loving, vivacious, unlike Surinder. But unforeseen circumstances bring them together.

Director Aditya Chopra chooses a desi plot and weaves a story around an ordinary, middle class couple. The story begins with gusto and the initial scenes between Shah Rukh and Anushka are thoroughly interesting. But the screenplay falters the moment Shah Rukh's character Surinder transforms into Raj and his personality undergoes a sea-change. The first question that strikes you is, why didn't Anushka realize it's him, her husband, not someone else? Sure, he has undergone a complete makeover, but how can you not recognise your husband's voice or appearance? That's a glaring flaw, it's like taking the viewer for granted!

The sequences thereafter are equally uneven. A few sequences are well executed, but the problem is that Shah Rukh keeps playing the game till the very end. If he had to win her heart, he could've done so by making her realize that it's a mirage, making her realize that the person she loves and the person she's married are the same.

There's a twist in the tale only towards the pre-climax, when Anushka is ready to elope with Raj, her dance partner. The climax, the drama that ensues during the finale of the dance competition, is excellent. Even the end [the honeymoon in Japan] brings a smile on your face.

Director Aditya Chopra is letdown by his own writing. The story is not convincing, the screenplay is not water-tight and therefore, RAB NE BANA DI JODI does not create the impact it ought to make. Also, the film is quite lengthy. With a running time of approx. 2.45 hours, RAB NE BANA DI JODI could've easily done with some trimming. The unwanted flab could've been trimmed for a better impact.

Salim-Sulaiman's music is of a mixed variety. 'Haule Haule' is a superb composition and 'Dance Pe Chance' is foot-tapping, but the remaining tracks, though well shot, are plain average. Ravi Chandran's cinematography is top notch.

Shah Rukh is superb as the simpleton and your heart goes out to him every time he appears on screen. You want the underdog to win and here too, the way SRK tackles this part, you're all the more convinced. As Raj, SRK goes overboard at times. Anushka looks the character and surprises you with a confident performance. It's no small achievement to share screen space with an actor of the calibre of SRK and Anushka manages it very well from start to end. Vinay Pathak is incredible. He contributes enormously in making the proceedings lively.

On the whole, RAB NE BANA DI JODI is vey desi at heart with a strong start and an equally strong emotional end. Most Wanted terrorists in India

Islamabad has prepared a list of some 35 top terrorists, involved in a number of terror activities in Pakistan and is set to hand over the names to Delhi seeking an early arrest and handing over of the accused to Pakistan. According to highly authentic sources, the list has been prepared by the Pakistan Foreign Office and the Ministry of Interior, with the assistance of police and intelligence authorities, in the backdrop of the investigations of different incidents of terrorism and sabotage in different parts of the country.

The list was actually prepared many weeks ago but was not given to Indian authorities with the intentions of gearing up peace process. But, the sources say, now, after India has failed to handle the situation sensibly and has instead started asking Pakistan to hand over 20 so called Pakistanis, who it says are involved in numerous terror activities in India. Pakistan has decided to come up with a matching response and has decided to ask India to hand over at least 35 leading terrorists, who were found to be directly or indirectly involved in a number of terrorist activities in Pakistan.

It is learnt that Islamabad is also sending a copy of this list to Washington to bring it to the notice of US authorities and to clarify the actual state of affairs in the backdrop of the Indian allegations in this regard while it is also under consideration to release a detailed report in this direction for the consumption of anti-terror war allies.
According to the sources, list has been prepared after going through the reports of provincial CID departments, police records and intelligence reports and out comes of the investigations and interrogations, carried out by Police and Intelligence agencies. These reports suggest the persons nominated in the list of Most Wanted Indian are constantly engaged in different forms of terrorism against Pakistan and Pakistani nationals and unless these are handed over to Pakistan for trial in Pakistani courts. South Asian peace can not be ensured.
Indians, accused of direct or indirect involvement in terrorist activities against Pakistan, in said list are,

(1) Ajay Verma, a Karnatika resident and directly involved in bomb blast at Sialkot in which 7 people were killed,

(2) Manoj Shastri alias Javed Khan, resident of Mumbai, wanted for killing of 14 Namazees at a Karachi Mosque,

(3) Raju Mukherjee, resident of Calcutta, wanted for bomb blast in Lahore in which 9 people were killed,

(4) Mr. Bal Thackeray, resident of Bombay, Chief of Shiv Sena, wanted for organizing at least three major massacres in Pakistan in which some 33 people were killed and a highly active in organizing ethnic and sectarian clashes in different parts of Pakistan,

(5) Vivek Khattri alias Kaala Pathaan, resident of Maharashtra, wanted for at least four bomb blasts in which over seventeen people were killed,

(6) Ashok Vidyarthi alias Aslam resident of Ajmair Sharif, wanted for sniper shooting at an Imam baargah in Karachi, killing some 14 Shias,

(7) Rajan Nikhalje alias Chhota Rajan, wanted for a number of terrorist attacks in different cities of Pakistan including a bomb blast in Sabzi Mandi Islamabad and a bomb blast in Quetta. Chhota Rajan is now launching terrorist operations in Pakistan from Indian Missions in Kandahar and Jalalabad (Afghanistan) and is head of RAW's organized Crimes Wing or Special Operations Division (SOD), he is also wanted for killing of Chinese Engineers in Baluchistan and organizing the murder of some Chinese workers near Peshawar

(8) Asotosh Srivastava alias Maulvi Nazir alias Mulla, resident of Alahabad, wanted for firing on an imambargah in which 9 people were killed,

(9) Ashok Dube alias Shah Jee, resident of Gandhi Nagar (New Delhi), wanted for killing some 11 Namazees in a Lahore Mosque,

(10) Sanjive Joshi, resident of Bombay, wanted for comprehensive assistance in terror attack on a Christian Mission School near Murree,

November 2008 Mumbai Attacks

Late Wednesday night, Mumbai, India found itself the target of a ferocious terrorist attack, and the situation remains unresolved even now, three days later. According to reports, upwards of 60 young men entered Mumbai in small inflatable boats on Wednesday night, carrying bags filled with weapons and ammunition, and spread out to nine locations to begin their attacks. Lobbing grenades and firing their weapons, they entered hotels, a railway station and several other buildings, killing scores and wounding even more. As of this moment, the identity of the attackers has yet to be definitively determined, though there are reports indicating some of the gunmen were Pakistani - at least nine of them have been killed, nine more arrested. As of this writing, there were a reported more than 150 people killed from 11 different countries - though nearly 100 were Indian. More than 300 injuries have also been reported - those numbers may yet rise as several hostage situations still exist in the city.

Candidate: I am Rameshwar Kulkarni. I did my Tele Communication
engineering from BabanRao Dhole-Patil Institute of Technology.

Interviewer: BabanRao Dhole-Patil Institute of Technology? I had
never heard of this college before!
Candidate: Great! Even I had not heard of it before getting an
admission into it ..
What happened is - due to cricket world cup I scored badly! in
12th.I was getting a paid seat in a good college.
But my father said (I prefer to call him 'baap') - "I can not
invest so much of money".(The baap actually said - "I
will never waste so much of money on you"). So I had to join this
college. Frankly speaking this name - BabanRao Dhole-Patil, can at the most be
related to a Shetakari Mahavidyalaya.

Interviewer: ok, ok. It seems you have taken 6 years to complete
your engineering.
Candidate: Actually I tried my best to finish it in 4 years. But
you know, these cricket matches and football
world cup, and tennis tournaments. It is difficult to concentrate.
So I flunked in 2nd and 3rd year. So in all I took
4 + 2 = 7 years.

Interviewer: But 4+2 is 6.
Candidate: Oh, is it? You know I always had KT in maths. But I
will try to keep this in mind. 4+2 is 6, good,
thanks. These cricket matches really affect exams a lot. I think
they should ban it.

Interviewer: Good to know that you want cricket matches to be
banned.
Candidate: No, no... I am talking about Exams!!

Interviewer: Ok, What is your biggest achievement in life?
Candidate: Obviously, completing my Engineering. My mom never
thought I would complete it. In fact, when i
flunked in 3rd year, she was looking for a job for me in BEST (Bus
corporation in Maharashtra) through some relative.

Interviewer: Do you have any plans of higher study?
Candidate: he he he.. Are you kidding? Completing 'lower'
education itself was so much of pain!!

Interviewer: Let's talk about technical stuff. On which platforms
have you worked?
Candidate: Well, I work at SEEPZ, so you can say Andheri is my
current platform. Earlier I was at Vashi center. So Vashi was my platform then. As you can see I have
experience of different platforms! (Vashi and Andheri are the places in Mumbai)

Interviewer: And which languages have you used?
Candidate: Marathi, Hindi, English. By the way, I can keep quiet
in German, French, Russian and many other languages.

Interviewer: Why VC is better than VB?
Candidate: It is a common sense - C comes after B. So VC is a
higher version than VB. I heard very soon they
are coming up with a new language VD!

Interviewer: Do you know anything about Assembly Language?
Candidate: Well, I have not heard of it. But I guess, this is the
language our ministers and MPs use in assembly.

Interviewer: What is your general project experience?
Candidate: My general experience about projects is - most of th! e

Interviewer: Can you tell me about your current job?
Candidate: Sure, Currently I am working for Bata InfoTech ltd.
Since joining BIL, I am on Bench. Before joining
BIL, I used to think that Bench was another software like Windows.

Interviewer: Do you have any project management experience?
Candidate: No, but I guess it shouldn't be difficult. I know
Word and Excel. I can talk a lot. I know how to
dial for International phone call and use speaker facility. And
very important - I know few words like -
'Showstoppers ' , 'hotfixes',
'SEI-CMM','quality','versioncontrol','deadlines' , 'Customer
Satisfaction' etc. Also I can blame others for my mistakes!

Interviewer: What are your expectations from our company?
Candidate: Not much.
1. I should at least get 40,000 in hand.
2. I would like to work on a live EJB project. But it should not
have deadlines. I personally feel that pressure affects natural talent.
3. I believe in flexi-timings.
4. Dress code is against basic freedom, so I would like to wear
t-shirt and jeans.
5. We must have sat-sun off. I will suggest Wednesday off also, so
as to avoid breakdown due to overwork.
6. I would like to go abroad 3 times a year on short term
preferably 1-2 months) assignments. Personally I prefer
US, Australia and Europe. But considering the fact that there is Olympics coming up in
China in the current year, I don't mind
going there in that period. As you can see I am modest and don't
have many expectations. So can I assume my selection?

Our hero Balakrishna and his brother were captured by the baddies and they tied Balakrishna onto a chair...Those idiots didnt know that Balakrishna cannot be stopped by a simple chair...

Here is our hero's brother...The baddies tied him up too and fixed a time-bomb across his stomach...The bomb looks more like a pack of sausage rolls..hehee. .

Balakrishna sees some bullet shells lying on the floor...This means that the baddies had a gun...But they decided to use a time-bomb to give the 'finishing touch'....This is what i call 'Innovative Thinking'...

The shells triggered Balakrishna' s brain (if any) and suddenly he has an idea...He throws himself onto the floor and starts moving towards the bullet shells...

Now, lets hv a look at the time-bomb... The timer(presumably a pager covered in plastic) is ticking...See the weird buttons on the bomb??...The red button is the On-Off button!!...Now, this is the world's first time-bomb with such a convenient on-off button...This is what i call a 'User-friendly Time-bomb'.. .Very easy to handle...Can b used even by infants...

Coming back to our hero, he is struggling to reach the shells...Look at his _expression. ..Seems like he is desperate to use the toilet!!...

Finally, he manages to reach the shells...He picks up a shell with his mouth as if it is Kappalandi.. .The viewers have no idea what the hell he is up to...Read on...

He concentrates with the shell between his teeth....Look at the sweat on his face...Gives an impression of how hard he is concentrating. ..With all his strength, he spits the bullet shell towards the bomb...

Loo and behold!!..The shell flies like a bullet through the air...Credit goes to Balakrishna here...He has the ability to make a shell work like a bullet...He can be a good asset to the Indian army....The shell reaches the time-bomb and hits exactly the green button!!...The time-bomb gets switched off!!...Balakrishna saves himself and his brother!!....

Mobile Phone Gun

This is mobile (cell phone) that appears to be like any ordinary phone from the outside but is in fact also a .22 calibre gun. Its a properly working phone that can be used to make and receive calls and not one of those gimmicky phones merely designed to hide its main purpose - the gun. I would assume that in this case the main purpose is probably the phone, or both in equal measure.
Inside the phone there are 4 barrels and pins with bullets. The gun is able to fire these shots in quick succession as the video below demonstrates. The keypad on the phone works as trigger for firing. I must say it was quite discomforting watching that even if it was only a demonstration.
I would assume a product like this would be banned in the UK and much of Europe, however, it may be available to be bought in the US and other countries freely where gun ownership is much more readily accessible, although I am not totally sure.

The Bridge Emotional Story

There was once a bridge which spanned a large river. During most of the day the bridge sat with its length running up and down the river paralleled with the banks, allowing ships to pass through freely on both sides of the bridge.

But at certain times each day, a train would come along and the bridge would be turned sideways across the river, allowing a train to cross it.

A switchman sat in a small shack on one side of the river where he operated the controls to turn the bridge and lock it into place as the train crossed. One evening as the switchman was waiting for the last train of the day to come, he looked off into the distance through the dimming twilight and caught sight of the trainlights. He stepped to the control and waited until the train was within a prescribed distance when he was to turn the bridge. He turned the bridge into position, but, to his horror, he found the locking control did not work. If the bridge was not securely in position it would wobble back and forth at the ends when the train came onto it, causing the train to jump the track and go crashing into the river. This would be a passenger train with many people aboard.

He left the bridge turned across the river, and hurried across the bridge to the other side of the river where there was a lever switch he could hold to operate the lock manually. He would have to hold the lever back firmly as the train crossed. He could hear the rumble of the train now, and he took hold of the lever and leaned backward to apply his weight to it, locking the bridge. He kept applying the pressure to keep the mechanism locked. Many lives depended on this man's strength.

Then, coming across the bridge from the direction of his control shack, he heard a sound that made his blood run cold. Daddy, where are you? His four-year-old son was crossing the bridge to look for him. His first impulse was to cry out to the child, Run! Run! But the train was too close; the tiny legs would never make it across the bridge in time. The man almost left his lever to run and snatch up his son and carry him to safety. But he realized that he could not get back to the lever. Either the people on the train or his little son must die. He took a moment to make his decision. The train sped safely and swiftly on its way, and no one aboard was even aware of the tiny broken body thrown mercilessly into the river by the onrushing train. Nor were they aware of the pitiful figure of the sobbing man, still clinging tightly to the locking lever long after the train had passed.

They did not see him walking home more slowly than he had ever walked: to tell his wife how their son had brutally died.

Now if you comprehend the emotions which went this man's heart, you can begin to understand the feelings of our Father in Heaven when He sacrificed His Son to bridge the gap between us and eternal life. Can there be any wonder that He caused the earth to tremble and the skies to darken when His Son died? How does He feel when we speed along thru life without giving a thought to what was done for us through His Son.

1. Disneyland was expected to fail.

Opening day was such a disaster that pretty much every press organization that attended the celebration had predicted the park's failure within one year.
It opened on a day that was 101 degrees and the street asphalt still wasn't dry, leading to it sticking to shoes. By the end of the first day, all but 2 of the 48 Autopia cars were crashed and about half the rides were broken.
Despite all that, park visitors loved it and attendance continued to grows day by day.

2. Need a real drink?

While many Disney fanatics may already know this one, others may find it surprising to know there is exactly one place in the entire park that serves alcoholic beverages.

The place is called Club 33 and it is a very exclusive club to get in. To gain entry, there is a ten year waiting list and admission is at least a thousand dollars. Supposedly, the food is good though.

3. Tomorrow Land is so outdated.

Or at least, the first version is by now. The only Tomorrow Land ride that still exists in its original state from the opening is Autopia, and even it was changed to fit with Cars the movie. Actually though, there is one major change in Autopia from how it was on opening day -there were originally no guide rail to keep people on track. Sometimes Disney was a little too trusting of the good of humans.

4. There's a Disney Underground.

It's not quite as exciting as it sounds though. Despite rumors, the area under the park isn't a massive underground city. There are many underground basements though, where cast can relax, change in and out of costumes and eat lunch in peace. Think of it like a few really big break rooms.

Disney World on the other hand, was built late enough that they have a full city underground.

5. Olympic sports anyone?

Just walking around the park over and over again is exercise enough for most people, but employees have the option of working out in the Matterhorn. Surely you didn't think that huge mountain was only used for one little ride did you? No, the Matterhorn is officially classified as a gym and has a full basketball court inside. In 1984, it was even certified as an official Olympic Stadium.

6. It's safe, but not 100% safe.

Despite persisting urban legends that claim no one ever died in the park, people have. At least 12 people have died there, reports vary as to whether some additional death tales are true or not. All things considered though, 12 deaths in over 50 years isn't that bad. Keep in mind, aside from dangerous rides, there is also a notable amount of gang violence at other Southern California amusement parks that doesn't occur as frequently at Disneyland.

7. Ever feel like you're being watched?

You might be. There are cameras everywhere. Aside from average security brigades, they even have special tasks forces with only a handful of things to focus on.

There are at least two special forces at the park, one dedicated to catching people using drugs at the park, and another dedicated to catching people who flash or flip off the cameras during the photo parts of the rides. If you've ever gotten a message saying your photo isn't available when you got off the ride, there's a good chance someone either flashed some breast or flipped the bird to the camera.

8. A ghostly Hazmat problem.

There are many reports of people trying to spill the ashes of loved ones in the Haunted Mansion. As nice of a thought as it is, there are plenty of ghosts in the Mansion already and if everyone dumped their ashes here, then the whole thing would be covered in dust. So, every time it happens, the Mansion needs to be closed and a hazmat team cleans it.

9. A pirate's life for Jack.

We all know that Johnny Depp is dang sexy, but just the character of Jack Sparrow? Apparently, a lot of women still think he's just as good as Depp. In Pirate's Booty, an ex-actor at Disneyland confessed how many women would try to hump him just for playing the character. The stories range from flirting to receiving napkins with naughty offers.

10. Words from beyond.

The telegraph clicking at the New Orleans' train station is ticking out the speech Disney gave out on the park's opening day. Traces of Disney are all over the park, for example his old apartment over the fire house on Main Street. They always leave the light on in his memory. Not only is it cute, but it's also rad that he got to live in the park.

The next bar is MYbar , Its situated in royapettah GP.Road . . After 7 DJ music will take place . . Have fun with good musics . . Here the cost is low when compare to resto . . Oasis is the next bar im going to discuss . . Its very small bar and the rates are low . .

Next week we are planning to go to La Marina . This bar is in Citicenter roof and very good place too . But the rate of one beer jug is 340 with non veg side dishes . . Hope this bar will be the better one . . I ll write about this bar after seeing it . .

Ok, the spoiler is that, Dostana is not a serious gay film.

Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) and Kunal (John Abraham) are on the lookout for a rental house in Miami. Incidentally, both of them lands up at a house and like the house. The house owner and her niece stay in the house and they are not keen to host two male tenants in that place. Sameer & Kunal didn’t want to miss the chance of staying there and claims that they are ‘gay’ and are harmless for the women ;)

Sameer and Kunal gets well with the house owner and her niece Neha (Priyanka Chopra) and slowly starts dreaming about Neha. When things get thick, Sameer & Kunal Starts fighting with each other for Neha. Unmindful of their feelings, Neha starts getting closer to a third person, Abhimnayu (Bobby Deol) her boss at work. Kunal & Sameer tries all tricks to eliminate Abhimnayu from the competition but fail. Who wins Neha forms the climax of the movie.

Abhishek, John and Priyanka did excellent job. Boman Irani and Kirron Kher did evoke some laughs. Over all an OK entertainer.

Goutham Menon can chase away the butterflies in his stomach and ask his heart to take it a bit easy as his latest film starring Suriya ‘Varanam Aayiram’ is witnessing tremendous bookings in advance.

The advance booking opened on the 12th of November and the two days before its release has been nothing short of dramatic. Be it Sathyam Cinemas, Abirami, Albert, Sangam, Inox or Mayajaal booking has been very good and the tickets have been almost sold out for about a week.

The proof of the pudding would be in the eating tomorrow when the movie releases. The USP of the film is Suriya appearing in many getups and of course Goutham Menon’s direction.

Mayajaal will be screening the film as many as 38 times a day. Inox too is booked for the weekend and most booking has been through the internet.

Female crowds for the film are expected to be very high as is the case with most Suriya films. The actor plays characters that span many years, right from being a schoolboy to that of an old man. An exciting prospect for Suriya fans. The film also has Divya Spandana, Sameera Reddy and Simran as the leading ladies.

This sure is the season of ‘Varanam Aayiram’.

Pls Don't go and waste your money ., . In my point of view this movie has some four stories without any continuation . . I don't know wat was going and i don't believe this movie will be like this . . . One only plus points in this movie is the songs and visualization . . If nothing else, High School Musical 3: Senior Year is the first film in the series that actually features a high school musical (long-time fans will remember that the first was concerned only with the audition for the title event, and that the second actually featured neither a high school nor a musical). That may not be high praise, but I think it’s a pretty good metaphor: number three isn’t perfect, but I think you could make the case that it gets more things right than either of the previous two films did. It won’t change the minds of any of the HSM-haters, but it’s likely to be the least offensive to them. And if nothing else, it provides a pretty good glimpse into what could have been, had Disney given the original’s book and libretto the respect they deserved.
The main difference here, of course, is the decision to go with a theatrical release, which allows for a considerably larger budget (roughly three times that of the first and twice that of the second). It’s clear the money wasn’t wasted: say what you will about it, but this movie looks fantastic. From the cinematic camerawork to the elaborate sets to the astonishing choreography (which looks much better on a full-size screen), this is arguably the first High School Musical that presents a truly professional veneer. Given where it’s coming from, it’s really hard to ask for more.

On the one hand, I say that to be balanced; I know that while I love High School Musical with every fiber of my being, there are countless people out there who would rather [insert preferred method of torture here] than watch yet another installment. On the other, I say it because the idea of making sequels to High School Musical was probably a bad one to begin with. The first one succeeded almost despite itself — there was nothing particularly original about a musical about the production of a musical, or about a teen comedy that revolved around clique boundaries, or about the generic teen pop songs that populated its soundtrack. It was a production that simply made the most of what it had — the talented cast and director Kenny Ortega (known primarily for choreographing Xanadu and Dirty Dancing, in addition to working on Ally McBeal and Gilmore Girls) simply threw every ounce of energy and conviction they could into the production, and the result was a certain type of pop alchemy. It was a gem — a little bit of sweet fluff, impossible to analyze and impossible to argue with. To attempt a sequel to such a pleasantly saccharine fairytale was the cinematic equivalent of following dessert with more dessert (with the guarantee that the second one would be leftovers, of course).

I doubt Disney gave the prospect even that much though, though — after all, the first installment made them piles and piles of cash (and rightfully so), so a franchise was pretty much a foregone conclusion in terms of Hollywood thinking. It came as no surprise, then, that the second film in the series showed much of this strain. The story was almost self-consciously inconsequential, the songs were bland Mouse Factory radio hits, and the whole thing played more like a music video than a musical. It wasn’t necessarily bad, so much as it proved that the original HSM formula could only stretch so far (namely, about an hour and a half).

The new film mostly corrects for this, first by returning to the setting of the original, and second by attempting to develop its characters into real people. The comic melodrama of the first two films has been mostly replaced by serious talk about the kids’ impending graduation and big questions about The Future (if the second installment tried a bit too hard to be superfluous, this new one probably tries a bit too hard to be serious). In other words, if the first film taught kids to Believe in Yourself, and the second one taught kids to Be True to Your Heart, number three teaches them to Get Off Your Butt and Get a Job.

There are moments when the angst gets in the way of the fun, but it really was the right decision — especially since the newly fleshed out characters play much better on the big screen than their previous incarnations would have. This new ambition makes for a much more interesting concoction (call it some vegetables with your dessert) than another rehash of the first film would have — and it’s an ambition that’s not limited to the drama.
Put simply, everything about this film screams ambition. You can say what you want about the saccharine songs, but the choreography here is nothing short of astonishing. The larger budget has obviously allowed for a lot more polish, and everything looks perfect. Highlights include “The Boys are Back,” a number that features Troy (Zac Efron) and Chad (Corbin Bleu) breakdancing and sword-fighting through a junkyard and “I Want It All,” a surreal, Fosse-inspired number performed by the inimitable Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale, who’s just as scenery-chewingly awesome as ever) and Ryan (Lucas Grabeel, still my favorite character). As with other films in the series, the songs here are something of a mixed bag — the finale (titled, cleverly, “High School Musical”) is as instantly forgettable as the finales from the previous two films (why they can’t come up with a showstopper for these things is beyond me), but they have finally crafted a memorable love theme for lead characters Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and Troy (the hauntingly beautiful waltz “Can I Have This Dance”) — but, on the bright side, the music is finally given the screentime it deserves (in other words, the contrived dialogue has taken a backseat to the song and dance).

But again, as with the first film, the magic isn’t so much the material as it is the exuberance that the cast and crew pours into it — an exuberance that High School Musical 3 possesses in spades. Everything here, from the singing to the sets to the costumes to the physical comedy, is as good as or better than it’s ever been in the series. It may not be a perfect film, but it is an impressive piece of work — one that has to be seen on the big screen to be fully appreciated, and this might be your only chance to do so.
