There appears to be yet another email campaign chain letter doing the rounds claiming mobile phone manufacturer Ericsson is giving away free laptops to those people who forwards said email to no less that 8 people.
This email campaign is of course a complete hoax and should be assigned to the rubbish bin immediately. The emails state that Ericsson is distributing free computer laptops in an attempt to match Nokia that has already done so.
Well as far as I am aware, Nokia has never offered any free laptops to those who forward emails. Furthermore it states that after forwarding said email within 2 weeks you will receive an Ericsson T18…an Ericsson T18 happens to be a phone not a laptop. So file these emails where they belong, in your spam bin.
